Tracy Ducharme is the Founder and President of Veritus Disability and Career Management Inc., which has been proudly serving Manitoba since 2006. With 18 years experience in the disability and career management industry, Tracy has a distinguished record of successfully assisting clients to return to work. Respectively, she has become well known in her profession for providing cost effective, time conscious and goal oriented vocational rehabilitation plans. Beyond this, Tracy is responsible for all aspects of Veritus' performance and for setting the vision and strategic direction of the company.

Tracy Ducharme holds a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation Degree and is a long standing Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) and Certified Vocational Professional (CVP). Tracy is committed to her professional development, completing both Motivational Interviewing Level 1 and Advanced certifications and is also a Certified True Colors Facilitator. She belongs to a variety of business organizations, and attends various conferences to build credibility and to network with key stakeholders in her community. In addition, Tracy is active within a variety of volunteer leadership roles and is passionate about community service and helping others.

Laurel Whitehill brings to Veritus extensive knowledge in disability management and return to work coordination. She has proven capabilities managing a varied and complex caseload of individuals who have been affected by injury, illness or disability. Laurel believes that a return to productive and meaningful work is a crucial factor in an individual's recovery and long term well-being.

Laurel has Bachelor of Arts Degree and is certified to provide the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP). She has also obtained her Career and Employment Coach Certificate (CECC), certification in both Level 1 and Advanced Motivational Interviewing and has completed professional development in Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction.

Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant

Sara Hudson's background includes a specialization in mental health case management within both community mental health and correctional institution settings. She has experience providing counselling and education to individuals of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and presenting concerns. At Veritus, Sara has a number of years' experience working with individuals by completing various types of vocational assessments, as well as career exploration, retraining and volunteer coordination and case management services. Sara is passionate about returning people to meaningful employment as she recognizes the impact of meaningful employment and strong career direction and fulfilment, to a healthy mind. Sara delivers her work with compassion and integrity.

Sara has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and recently graduated with her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology with Distinction in August 2019. She is currently working towards attaining her Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) designation and Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP) certification. Sara regularly participates in professional development and conferences in the areas of conflict resolution, case management, and specialized mental health practices (including trauma, attachment, and mood disorders). She is also bilingual, offering services in both French and English.

Nicole Chappellaz, BKin, RRP
Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant – BRANDON

Nicole Chappellaz resides in Brandon, Manitoba, and offers both disability and career management services to clients in the Parkland, Southwest, North Central and North regions of Manitoba. Nicole holds a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Applied Health and is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) with VRA Canada. Devoted to ongoing education, Nicole also attends courses on Accommodation Law, Applied Counseling, Dealing with Anxiety, Addictions Processes and has certifications in Mental Health First Aid and Advanced Levels of Motivational Interviewing.

Nicole comes to Veritus with over 12 years of rehabilitation and disability management experience. She has a proven track record of effective case management including both short term/early intervention cases as well as long term complex claims. She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of cost effective rehabilitation plans and also understands the unique challenges associated with living and working in rural areas. Nicole's approach to case management includes empowering and engaging clients in their own rehabilitation in order to maximize their long term success.

Nicole is also fully bilingual and provides services in both English and French.

Jessica Bellabono's diverse experience in human resources, recruitment and staffing has allowed her to build a foundation of knowledge to create innovative solutions for individuals and companies to reach their fullest potential. Her experience providing support for career planning and transitions, combined with her passion to help individuals discover their strengths ensures a positive and successful outcome.

With a dedication to continuous learning, Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Winnipeg. In addition, she has both the Career and Employment Coach Certificate and Mental Health First Aide Certificate, and is a Certified General Aptitude Test Battery (GATB) Administrator. Jessica is committed to expanding her knowledge base and most recently completed the Certificate in Rehabilitation Case Management at the University of Manitoba, as well as Motivational Interviewing Level I and Advanced certifications.

Ahniko transitioned from a 20-year career in IT to discovering her passion for providing people with the tools they need to get the jobs they want. Through both working one-on-one with clients and extensive facilitation of job search workshops, Ahniko has years of broad experience ranging from assisting at-risk youth entering the job market to guiding clients through mid-life career transition. Her core belief: all human beings have a right to the dignity of gratifying employment suited to their values, skills, and gifts.

Completing her Rhetoric and Communications Degree, Ahniko took her post-graduate Career Development Practitioner (CDP) Certificate, her certification for Personality Dimensions Level 1 Facilitator, and earned her Career and Employment Coach Certificate (CECC). Becoming a facilitator herself for the CECC workshops, she recognized the need for a professional association for CDPs to support each other and thus better serve their clients. In 2016, Ahniko was presented with Manitoba's Leadership in Career and Workforce Development, Individual Achievement Award for leadership in founding the Manitoba Association for Career Development (MACD). She is also a registered member of the Career Professionals of Canada.

Laurie is a natural collaborator and relationship builder with over 20 years' experience building bridges of understanding, providing practical, effective solutions while assisting her clients to achieve their desired goals. For the past several years her focus has been helping people transition into meaningful employment.

A dynamic facilitator and compassionate coach, Laurie has worked with hundreds of youth, immigrant/newcomer and mid-career clients identify career direction, articulate strengths, and communicate them effectively in pursuit of their desired employment. At Veritus Laurie assists private clients, such as students planning their future and adults in employment transition, to visualize next steps and create action plans to get them there. She also facilitates customized staff development workshops for organizations and businesses.

Laurie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psych.) complemented with her Career and Employment Coach Certificate (CECC) and Practical Workshop Facilitation Skills certification. She is a certified practitioner in both the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) and Strong Interest Inventory®, two instruments highly valued for robust career planning. She is a registered member of Career Professionals of Canada and a founding member of the Manitoba Association for Career Development.
